Today's the day .................... to wave

It was a big night yesterday in town with the Kirkcudbright Tattoo in full swing - and it was one of the best that we can remember.

You would have thought that the organisers of the Summer Festivities programme would have needing a rest today - but they are made of strong stuff.  On offer today there was a Classic Car Rally  in the Harbour Square from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, a Farmers and Producers' Market  in the Town Centre from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, and a Vintage Fair  back at the Parish Hall from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This was one of the Classic Car owners on his way home after all the fun, giving us a cheery wave as he passed our house ..................
