Grasmere Sports

Grasmere Sports has been going for over 170 years!

Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, hound trails, fell running, paragliding, children's races, Trade Stands, Craft Marquee and Fun Dog Show.

The weather was perfect! ( last year it was wet...)

The highlight is The Senior Guides Race...a very steep run up to nearly 1000ft, then back down again at a breakneck speed!!!
Nearly 200 runners took part this year  ( men and ladies aged 18 and over )
It's a spectacular sight!!!
