An unequal exchange

A lazy Sunday morning and a catch up with a friend who always finds the most remarkable books and objects for next to nothing in charity shops. The extremely realistic beaver and otter came from Perth, appropriately, where there are healthy populations of both. The beavers not to every farmer’s liking.
In return my gift was a minuscule piece of marble from the old quarry on Iona.
