Mist!!

Not quite what we expected when we woke to pack up. 

It brought the temperature right down but by we had packed everything back in the truck and took a long meander to find the viewing deck that Arnie took a roundabout route to the viewing deck it had cleared.

An uneventful drive to to the Phalaborwa and then onwards to Hazyview followed where we are staying in the Sabi River Sun.

We are very familiar with the  resort having had timeshare there for years but staying in the hotel was a whole new experience.

Running and shouting kids, bingo being played at the poolside, and thin walls that allow even a cough to be audible was not the best choice after a mostly peaceful visit to the park.

The food was pretty awful too, cold and long waits between courses.

Suffice as to say we wll not be doing that again, but we really enjoyed a long walk around the resort, watching hippos and birds.  It is still a beautiful place to be, just not in the hotel.
