The City

The city has its own boat docked at the landing where we walk. It’s actually operated by the fire department for water / river rescues. Thankfully it isn’t used often but good to have it when there’s an emergency • A lovely breezy day. We continued cutting out overgrown knotweed, weeding a perennial flower bed, then walked at the river when this photo was taken • For those interested, the Connecticut team took third in the Little League World Series, while Nevada and Chinese Taipei are currently playing for first and second place • Peace, Love & Purrs
