Fly the Flag

Happy Birthday to one of my oldest friends, well she's 8 months younger than me, we went to school together. :)
This morning my daughter & her boyfriend helped me take some things to the Charity Shop, then we had a look round & off we went to the Community Fridge where my daughter & I got a few things.
Home again & I walked to the Fire Station to give them some old clothing in aid of injured Firemen.
Good News 1 of the workmen came to paint all the pipes & he made a good job of them all, above & beyond on some.
Then the other Workman got caught up on another job & couldn't make it today, so the Scaffold Tower stays up until possibly Saturday when he hopes to finish the job.
I really hope so, cos it's getting beyond a joke, a month & a bit it's been there!!
