Candles on the Cobb

We are now on holiday in Lyme Regis. We stopped on the way for lunch at the Wiseman pub in West Strafford. The food was excellent. So was the service and the price.

We’d arrived today so that we could see the Candles on the Cobb event. 4,000 candles were lit in remembrance of people. It was very moving. The funds raised were donated to several charities.

Even though it was quite late we had an ice cream as we always do when we are here.
