The end of a lovely day. The ten o clock service was full with lots of children and families. I had been invited out to lunch and I took powder and cream to give a reflexology treatment to Andrew who has had a very bad back and is on copious quantities of pain killers. I heard all about their holiday in the Lake District with the family in good weather but too hot to do long walks or hikes.

Andrew had to buy a new pair of boots as his others had disintegrated. He has also discovered that Nordic poles are a boon if you are dealing with an acoustic neuroma which affects your balance. The boots he bought fit beautifully and enable him to walk well with his drop foot on the left!

Back to church to do the welcoming in the evening and then for a walk to the sea after the service. This was the view down to stonehouse pool while I was waiting for my bag to be delivered! I had left it in church by mistake and I phoned up the church warden and she and her husband brought it down to Durnford street on their way home which was very kind! It was high tide and the sunset was wonderful!

Thank you to everybody who has congratulated me on my 2500 blipversary and for all the hearts! I had forgotten it was yesterday. I would just like to thank all the people who work in the background to keep the site running smoothly and what a joy it is to be part of such a positive space!
