Full day

Went for a run first thing, round the castle way and back via Windmill Hill. Tired towards end but wasn’t any sign of the calf issue that has been bothering me.
We then went down the road for coffee with some neighbours, after which I headed up to the bowls club, where I was on tea and bar duty. It was a pleasant afternoon but would have been more enjoyable if I had been playing.
Herstmonceux won by two points so the players were happy
