St. Mary's Church, Boxford

[Backblip]. There is a beautiful 15th church just round the corner from our Airbnb in Boxford. Little Man and I went out out for a walk this morning. We went into the church and then wondered through the church's graveyard. I love British churches and find their graveyard fascinating. Often older graveyard to be several feet above the nearby area, due to the layers of bodies that were buried there. Being buried in consecrated ground was so important to our ancestors, and due to the lack of space in church graveyards, graves would be several layers deep.

After lunch, we went to Hadleigh. Its a beautiful village with several charity shops, pubs and another church, which we went into. We had a lovely time, wondering through the village. My parents' wedding anniversary is tomorrow and I wanted to get them a card (I got some chocolate for them on the ferry yesterday).

Hannah and her boyfriend, Louis, joined us for dinner. They flew over this morning, for the wedding tomorrow, and wanted to spend some time with us. It was lovely.
