Pigeon

The bird's water bowl was dry as a bone when I got home so I filled it.....
This pigeon spent about half an hour sitting in the water, bathing!  It was a joy to watch from inside the house, where I was sitting with a camera close enough to use to snap it through the glass.
The few cornflowers giving a second flowering can be seen in the background. The wisteria is putting out a few new blooms too. Weird behaviour.
Went swimming today - it was so hot we used the outside pool - delightful!
Family BBQ later - be good to see the grandson who is over from Oz for a few more days. Eloise will be back from her Greek hols too.
