The woods...

...at the top of the road looked super sparkly this morning on my walk around the village. 

In the extra you can see a closer snap of one of the oak trees and clearly see the effects of this dry summer. If you look at the main snap large you'll see that even the brambles to the bottom right are drooping, which I've never seen before.

Having said all this, I've dried three loads of washing on the line today in the  sunshine...
