Last sunny day . .

. . . for a while, it seems. It's been pretty warm here today so although I  dressed for gardening I took a book out to the NE end of the house and sat in the sun for a while. Although the view - my Blip today - looks very green, there are houses down there somewhere! Not bad though, and walking down the hill in a SW direction I can be at the seafront in ten minutes.

After lunch I walked downtown to buy a paper - very warm but with a pretty stiff breeze. The town was very busy - an English Bank Holiday today. Lots of bikers in the town and the usual ferries coming in and out - my extras today. Coming back uphill of course is very much warmer so I had no option than to sit outside again - at the SW end this time - to get my breath back.  Good cooling wind!

Now, it seems, we'll be having endless days of showery weather, if the forecast is correct!
