More Beasties

We packed up early to make the most of the day.

Our one stop was Alzu which is an interesting concept.  It is a service station with a difference.  It houses a multitude of eateries and boutique style shops, but behind it is a huge open space that has herds of Buffalo, Eland, some Ostrich (extras), and a large herd I believe of Rhino, but they were no where to be seen during our visit.

Home to find that Joburg has gone from winter straight into summer at 30 degrees.  After the usual wonderful but cazy welcome from the pooched, we got everything offloaded, ran the washing machine for a while, and by the time we got back from our outing with the pooches, it was dry and ready to take back in.  

Some general tidy up done, some grocery shopping done, and a surprise catch up with D&K finished our day, and to be honest, we were finished and very ready for bed.
