on this day me and my significant other were invited to a bar by a friend, on our way to the bar we decided to purchase a pack of cigarettes each for the night out.
i thought i’d relapse after staying abstinent for 2+weeks, this was my way of proving myself that it’s not a habit anymore but rather used for it’s once intended purpose: as a luxury, a party accessory, something for social settings and not the rancid cigarette you immediately light after waking up while feeling awful about all the choices that led up to that moment..
my coughing has become less, i feel more fit and my skin has improved.
for whatever reason you quit, it’s probably a good one, whether that’s health anxiety, shallowness or financial hardships.
we played cards, drank beer and one herbal alcoholic beverage.
