Crabbing!

Tim’s family gathered together today in advance of his birthday next weekend. We went crabbing in Walberswick (no crabs were injured) and then dined in the countryside at his son’s place. It was warm enough to sit outside and the meal was delicious.

The flat is in a converted barn and just as the evening was drawing to a close, two bats flew in. The apex of the roof must have been at least four metres high. A comedy of errors ensued in trying to help the bats find their way out again.

It was memorable!!
