Emmeline and Reggie having a morning cuddle. Surrounded by dog beds! These two are so close, it’s lovely to see.

They are at Jodie’s for a sleepover tonight. Pizza and film night. While Hayley, Seb J and I sat in our patio, had some wine, grown up chatting without interruptions and a later meal than the usual 5 o’clock time with the kids. Wonderful to make full use of the patio in the warm evening sunshine.

This weekend has been everything I envisioned when we started on this building/renovation project, very much helped by the fabulous weather.

PS Today is our 52nd wedding anniversary!
