Red Breasted Goose.........

..............I came across a Farm this morning with a Wooden Barn with an attached Pigeon Loft and an enclosed area in front of it containing the most assorted types of Chickens and Ducks I have seen - including this very colourful Goose (which I thought was a DUCK - thank you, JanetH who corrected me). In spite of consulting Google and a couple of bird books, I could find nothing to help - which was not surprising, as I was looking for Ducks and not Geese - why, I don't know - silly me!.

A lovely morning for a trip out - Temperature at 70 Deg. F.
An afternoon for the garden, I think if I can find the energy!
