Enjoying the View

I love it when I turn a different direction on a familiar path and discover a new one.  This morning I was out with the Manorlands Hospice Team doing a recce of a stretch of their sponsored walk route, checking it was still accessible and noting any changes to landmarks etc.

We set off from the garden centre and walked through the woods to emerge on Wilsden High Street which we crossed and headed up Wilsden Hill.  Halfway up the unfamiliar section began for me and I enjoyed the emerging views across the villages and down the valley.  

My blip is taken when we paused to enjoy that view at the high point of the walk.  From there we dropped down to the hamlet of Harecroft to pick up Anne's car and return to the garden centre for well earned cuppas.
