Was sick today so had to stay home. Went to the doctors to get medicine but thankfully coffee was not on the “no go” list. Kannon coffee has nicely served coffee and they just opened a new branch on the other side of Nagoya station. Nicer, space-age interior that still has their coffee. Good times.

I’m just over halfway through Frank Herbert’s Dune, the first book, and I’m really really enjoying it. It’s my first time and even as I’m reading it, my mind is jumping between the news movies, David Lynch’s movie and the PC video games that I played when I was in school. It’s easy to see why they’re so popular. I but this copy only because it was ¥600, new! I’m thinking of buying the 6-book set… should I? I think so.
