Joe and Josephine
With the dry weather meaning the grass at the church is not growing much, we have been getting on with clearing some of the overgrown areas, and filled all three green bins this morning - well actually - Tony did.
I set about removing some of the low dead branches from a couple of trees which were impeding our access to the area and would have been about eye height for anyone looking for a family grave.
Joe is the larger of the two bowsaws, inerited from my father.
The smaller one (lets call her Josephine) was Gill's fathers.
You might also see Gill's electric secateurs ... which are probably the most frightening tool I use. They will slice through a ~25mm branch easily, so I think a finger or two would be no great issue for them.
Best to set the blades closed when walking about with them.
From the manual:
■ The moving cutting blade can seriously injure
the user.
► Keep your free hand at least 40 cm away
from the cutting blade.
► Never touch the cutting blade.
I have backblipped yesterday's mono effort - which is probably a more interesting photograph :-)
