An extra ballet lesson was on offer today. Term doesn’t start until the middle of September so l’m not sure why we could dance today.
I’m away on two short holidays next month so l jumped at the chance to get a bit of exercise, l soon seize up these days.
Went for my regular train which was delayed because of a cow on the line and we were 15 minutes late getting into Leeds.
Nevertheless l was the first there  and l noticed the new season’s Northern Ballet Banners were not up yet to advertise Merlin in September and The Nutcracker in December.
It was good to see a few of my friends and catch up.

We were told it would be a gentle lesson but l’m not sure my body agrees with that , we all felt we had pushed ourselves.
Pleasant walk back to the train station.
I bought some silver earrings on the way. When l filmed for the BBC last month l was given some unexpected travel expenses ( not a lot!).  So l thought l would buy something with the money to remember a happy and exciting time in my life. No doubt they will be a future blip.

I think the village got a smattering of rain while l was away but it was hot and sunny on my return.
