Ma spuds

I grew potatoes in bags last year, but because of one disaster and another, I didn't get around to lifting them.

Being a consummate hoarder, I brought the sacks with me when we moved in February, and sure enough, they grew again.

I have no idea which variety - lovely pale screamy skins, which probably doesn't narrow down the field much!

This is the first lot I've lifted and we had them on Friday night - classic mince and tatties. And boy were the potatoes tasty!
