There’s a photographer I know in Edinburgh who is married with two children. She’s noticed that she has become the family chronicler and that, as a consequence, she rarely appears in the family photographs. She has encouraged friends to get in front of the camera instead of always being behind it. I’m not a fan of selfies, but I’m always happy to display a new backpack!
