Chimneys at Hampton Court

A quick photo this afternoon as I cycled by Hampton Court. I never fail to be impressed by the old buildings, the brickwork and the chimneys…over 500 years old. The Gatehouse, to the left of this, is currently cordoned off as it is being restored.

This morning I went for a swim and was amazed, but pleased too,  to find only one other in the pool! The are is quite quiet as I think lots of people are away for the last week of the school holidays.

My hairdresser came and did my hair plus a friends and I then caught up on some cleaning and washing etc. as I have been away quite a bit recently.

I have watched some of the US Open on TV today and will follow it as so many matches are available on Sky. Let’s hope some of the Brits do OK …some knocked out today.
