plums

So many of them, the branches are hanging low. Picked these this afternoon, hope to make some jam tomorrow. They have a wonderful flavour. Ziggy wanted a long woodland walk this morning which was really nice. Had to mend the strap on Mr I’s watch this afternoon, only a small mend but it took ages. I had to find a bit of very soft leather that my sewing machine would work on, then thread the buckle through it and attach it to the strap after removing the broken bit. Mending takes longer than making new items!
