Have had to pause hacking out with Indy for a while as his feet were getting sore on the hard stony ground. I've had to give in and put some shoes on him. Got those sorted this morning so was straight out for a hack this afternoon. Feels like it's been ages. He was absolutely brilliant. I even took him for a canter across the stubble field! He did a nice steady canter and came back to trot when I asked him. I was absolutely over the moon!! Definitely had my brave pants on this afternoon! 

Edie came down and I relented and let Eva ride Buddy out on a hack with her. She's been driving me mad and they only walked. She says it doesn't hurt anymore and both me and Jen were walking with them. (I feel like an irresponsible mum though!). 

Tobes has discovered he has lots of homework to do, two days away from going back to school!
