Fall Clematis

I didn’t disturb Momma until I’d showered, had breakfast and was ready to put her plate on the table. She is really good about getting up when I call her. While she was eating, I went out to my fall clematis bush looking for new bees. Didn’t see any but thought I’d show you how large this tiny bush has grown in one season. Our steady rain this summer really helped. I put a close up of the blooms in the left hand corner. They really are showy and fragrant. Momma ate breakfast quickly but the shower took longer than normal. We left for the funeral a little later than I’d planned. We still got there in plenty of time. Hubby drove separately so we could leave right after Mass. I doubt Momma would have been comfortable at the reception in a stranger’s home. My sister and BIL stopped by soon after we got home. They leave for WV tomorrow and wanted our soda can tabs to turn in. They had eaten lunch before they came so I heated a bowl of soup for our mother and leftover pizza for me. Momma was ready for a nap after lunch. I cleaned up a bit and worked on my blip. Hubby got home a little later. We are refinancing both vehicles. Hubby found much better interest rates (less than what I am making on my savings). I’ll just keep that tiny payment and let my money continue to grow rather than pay off what I borrowed. Our evening is pretty much free. Hubby is going to measure the secondary driveway at Kristen’s “new house.” They are meeting with the owners to sign the deal so they can get it inspected. He will store our RV there and may buy a metal cover for it. Dinner is all cooked. Glad to sit down a while. My heel is demanding that I do. Wishing you a painless evening. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. Clematis: "The first year they sleep, the second year they creep, and the third year they leap.” - perennial adage from “The Spruce and American Meadows”
