It had rained when I got up with Bailey for his breakfast this morning but apart from a bit as I packed up the car, the rain had obviously gone east ahead of us this morning. We left Mum and Dad's at about nine thirty. Traffic was heavy with a lot of lorries and a couple of queues including being at a standstill right on the top of the M62. Quite a few degrees warmer this side of the Pennines so two loads of washing out and  dried once we were home. Bailey was under the bench within 5 minutes of the car being unpacked and has been out there in the dark tonight. He has been prepared to have two walks although he wasn't keen to head home on the first one.
