Jodrell Bank - Cheshire

Jodrell Bank radio telescope in Cheshire is a spectacular sight at the best of times. When it's viewed along with one of the spectacular (but all-too-brief) sunsets that we often get here in summer, it takes on a whole new dimension. That ageing, rather cluttered piece of engineering takes on a rather ethereal beauty that almost makes it look graceful.
