Wetlands…

…getting dryer by the day. A few Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, some Mallards hanging on the edges of the pond. Had a nice walk there this morning. Then more puppy day care, and picking apples from the ground before the elk get them. Made one apple pie filling and froze it for later use.
We are sitting on the porch, enjoying the cooling evening, listening to the crickets and the elk bugling in the background.
