Our Native Owl- Morepork ( Ruru)

I popped into the hospital today to sign some papers. I had to check out one of my favourite birds. This fellow is waiting for his tail to regrow. He looked at me quite quizzically. I definitely didn’t want to touch him- they can bite seriously. I just said hello and left. Quite beautiful.
