Soapwort
Saponaria officinalis
The Wildflower Week challenge for 2025 has ended in the northern hemisphere. Huge thanks to Miranda for keeping it going and to ApolloFly and Nicoiseannie for covering a month earlier in the summer.
However I'm not quite ready to stop looking for and blipping wildflowers. I'll keep going as long as I can. I'm sure that I'll find suitable subjects for a few more weeks. Here is soapwort in the garden. It's pretty but can be a pest. It's a vigorous spreader and has to be kept in check.
We've had some more rain and the forecast is for heavy showers this afternoon. It's a shame because it's my day for meeting the girls from school and I think we'll all get wet. I'll hear their stories later.
I'll finish the day with bedtime yoga which is never strenuous and always enjoyable.
