John Returns Today!

Yay!  He'll be here later this morning to begin the cut back, weeks earlier than most years because of the drought.  We will start in the dooryard.  I was looking at it this morning and notice that a patch of Heliopsis and Phlox looked rather better than the rest and discovered there was a small dripping from the hose sprayer.  Apparently, it was all they needed.  I will talk to John about a plan to add timed water sprinklers next year.  I'm afraid these hot dry summers are going to get more common.

On another note, I am learning to use ChatGPT and had fun asking it to change a photo of my friend and I taken in May when I was in Scotland into "kindly, wise witches". (Macbeth was a theme during our adventures that week.)  I also asked them to name us.
