The Feast Day of Saint Monica.

Status : Widow.
Patron Saint of Mothers, wives, various Mother's Associations.
St Monica is a good example of a Saint who prayed with faith and perseverance, specifically for her son
St. Augustine of Hippo. His Feast Day is 28th August. She was married to a pagan called Patricus. He converted to Christianity before he died in 371.
Today is close and the longed for rain has been a blessing.
Holly and Hunter have been in a strange mindset. They are usually very passive but now and again, Hunter tries to dominate her. Holly growls in defence and without a nasty physical detriment Holly finds a peaceful place to be. Sometimes it has been under a small low stool. I pray their energies can stay peaceful and kind towards each other.
It is 21c in the living room.
I have walked to the Co op to buy the I newspaper and The People's Friend.
I have with the help of Paul, found a more suitable size strong flowerpot for the Mother of Thousands plant that I posted yesterday as my blipfoto.
I hope and pray the big plant settles down and eventually thrives. The conservatory provides a reasonably appropriate warmth and window sill space. The plant requires conscious care and moderate watering from the saucer and some gentle water spraying.
I hope you enjoy a pleasant day.
Thank you for visiting my site today, blip friends.
