Island

According to local stories, the Island is actually a giant [cyborg] who fell asleep [after emerging from his trans-galactic spaceship] only to be almost submerged by the rising waters [caused by the accelerating climate changes]. The stories say that he will wake one day and rise, shaking the waters from his eyes, and resume his task of hurling rocks around the countryside [in an act of judgement of Mankind’s mismanagement of the Planet].
