Blackberry Harvest

It’s been a strange year for the humble yet glorious blackberry. Here in Yorkshire we’d expect berries to come into best picking ripeness from mid September.

I’ve been picking ripe ones for the last two months on and off and the final knocking as for some bushes are already here.
