Green on Green

My friend Flora the Flower Lady (not her real name) who loves all creatures, found this gorgeous large dragonfly apparently grounded, and wondered if it was in trouble. It did seem a little vulnerable there on the grass. Turned out it was fine, perhaps it had just emerged and was bracing itself for life on the wing after weeks of the life aquatic.

I'm not much good at dragonflies, but I think this is a Green Darner.
