10th Hole

You wouldn't know it but I'd already got absolutely drenched for the first half hour!

I had a day off today, albeit I needed to attend a call at 0900 that I couldn't really escape from. Once out I headed out for a run before going into town (my local as opposed to that there London) to (a) try on some trousers I'd seen in M&S but they didn't have in my size and (b) get my sight and contact lens checks done.

My local branch  didn't even have the trousers in stock, which was annoying, and my lens and sight checks took almost two hours (no issues just no staff), even more so. I was not in a good mood on the way home.  Luckily I don't need new prescriptions so that's a small fortune saved at least.

Himself is running later; if I'm really lucky I'll be the only one home but I doubt it.
