Flood defences
My walk today was in Comber, along the banks of the River Enler. I noticed three pyramids on top of the flood defence wall, which runs for quite a distance. I have no idea what purpose they serve, if any, so if any one knows do let me know. A preliminary flood risk assessment for Northern Ireland was completed in 2011, so I assume this structure was built after that.
