Speech Therapy
I honestly hadn't planned on today being as busy as its turned out to be. My life group leader, Sjanne, and I had talked about meeting up today. I'd hoped she'd be able to come round to my place but she asked if Little Man and I could go to her. She and her family are currently doing refurbishments on their home, so they've been staying with different people from the church, as well as their family. They're currently staying with the elders of Living Waters, Oudewater. So we biked up the road. Little Man had a lot of fun playing with Sjanne's kids, especially her youngest, Abel.
I had a bit of a challenge with my bike's front tyre this morning. I pumped the tyre up and watched it deflate with in seconds due to a part of the valve not having been tightened properly. When we went to bike over to Sjanne, the front tyre was completely flat again. It was a different part of the valve that wasn't tight enough. Thankfully, the second time did the trick. We were able to bike to see Sjanne and then on to see Little Man's speech therapist.
As has become our normal on Wednesdays, we saw Little Man's therapist this afternoon. I decided to let him burn off some steam before we saw her by going to the park first. He enjoyed it a lot. He regularly needs the chance to play outside, especially when the weather's nice.
Little Man's speech therapist was happy with his development and his ability to stay focused during the activities she had us do. He is really coming alone well. I'm very proud the leaps and bounds that my boy's been making.
We stopped off at the supermarket on the way home. We needed to get some more bread. I also popped into Kruidvat to get some more nappies. Little Man's progress with the potty training is going a lot slower than I'd have liked and hoped.
