Repairs and alterations!

Js garden umbrella broke on the tilt adjustment mechanism. No way of getting it apart and as replacements are all very poor quality we decided to cut out the old which was an “interference fit” and find a suitable sized piece to join the 2 sections together. The bits of metal removed had to be cut out from inside the tubing.
Hopefully it will work.
