Polites peckius, a butterly

This is the second "polites" insect in a row.  Who knew insects could be polite?  

With all the recent rain, there's been an explosion in the mosquito population along with West Nile virus and lyme disease.  On Monday, I saw signs in a nearby suburb announcing mosquito spraying at night.
