An abundance of crab apples
I finished checking my photobook of Harris and Lewis. Just as well as I had been trying to outline the photos with a thin border. Reviewing the photos at full size revealed that the instruction chooses the cell in which the photo has been posted and not the photo at all.
And I uploaded the book to Blurb. The pdf was available almost instantly.
My legs were feeling unexercised so Basil and I set off up the drive with me using my crutches. Almost immediately, there was a huge blast of thunder which tempted me to return, but looking up at the sky and observing that the shower cloud was moving away, we continued on our way.
Back home I took Basil for a walk while using Cecily to ride on. He had been disappointed that his mate Helen wasn't in, and he hadn't been for a walk for two days. We chose the green (now brown) lane where he could run free of his lead. At the far end of the lane is this Crab Apple tree festooned with the fruit, and a lot of it on the ground as well. I always mean to take a bag to pick some and I always forget.
