Red Kites (Again)

I was out just after 06:30 this morning - only a few minutes after sunrise - and I spotted some red kites in the same tree that I saw them in the other day - only this time there was some lovely golden light on them.

See the first extra for the duo together - on the same perches as before - I wonder if this is the same pair in their regular hangout.

I walked a few paces closer to get the main blip shot - but just a couple of seconds later the bird decided enough was enough and launched in to the air - second extra. 

I have had to really dial back the saturation of yellow and orange as the colours were so bright!

Later we went for coffee/snacks with daughter and granddaughters at Junction 32 outlet - the girls were full of stories about their summer holiday trips :-)
