Thought I should get out and try and avoid the showers. It was dry when I left the house and got brighter towards Windermere

Into Booths for bread and veg then down to Bowness. Plan A (the wet one) was to park opposite the cinema, wind the window part way down and wait for a passerby but as it was still dry I went for plan B. Parked not too far from the lake and (fortunately) thought I should put my waterproof jacket on. Within a minute of leaving the car it was raining and it quickly got heavy.

I took some photos around the cafe/takeaway and decided not to go further.

Back home I sat in the car for about 5 minutes waiting for the rain to ease before I made a dash to the house.
