Not a great day.

Most of it was spent listening to bosses lying to me.  That is not something designed to endear them to me.

The problem with bosses getting excited about an idea is that the bosses get excited.  Some pr1ck with a powerpoint will believe he's building a whole new world of work when actually, he's looking to replace experts with a LLM - not dignifying it by calling it Artificial Intelligence (Künstliche Intelligenz in German).  LLM stands for Large Language Model.

My job entails helping people by being available and friendly. Plus there are a lot of technical skills that are required.  Best of luck to the LLM analysing and diagnosing problem in a 30 year old assembler macro.
