It's Been A While

I am on the home stretch for my Botanical Art course. I hope to be finished by the end of October - that will be a year. When I started, I couldn't imagine why I would need a year but now I understand the amount of work involved. 

There are many hours of research, selecting your specimen plant and then practicing before creating your final composition. 

This, my chaotic bunch of radishes, is almost complete (that's as long as I don't have self doubts and decide to start it all over again - I think that's not an uncommon reaction). I didn't get to eat the radishes, sadly. 

I have one more piece to do and have already started the research and practice stage. I plan on drawing an Orchid - such beautiful flower.
