The Walnut Tree

About 35 years ago, my mum found half a walnut on a woodland walk. It had a small, green shoot coming out of it and my mum decided to plant it and see what happened.
She repotted it a few times and then planted it in the ground. We had to go back to her old bungalow to pick up some post.
Just look at the half a walnut now!
