Scrap

Graeme's phone call yesterday to say the van was fixed was nice but since it was pissing rain at the time there was no way I was jumping on my bike to go and get it so this morning I hopped out of bed, got myself ready and, seeing as there was no rain, hopped on my bike and pedalled to the garage. Nice morning sky with Grangemouth in the distance (if you peer closely).

The van's running nicely and quietly, which suggests the old crankshaft pulley had been failing for a while. Having a working vehicle meant I could go shopping and stock up on a month's worth of the sort of stuff that's a bit much for the bike shopping.

The rest of the day has been spent emptying M's wee van which is off to the great scrap heap in the sky (Inverkeithing). I'd built a camper inside it so that got taken out, some of it will be reused in the big van, some given away and some dismantled.
